@Grammaton just to clarify things for future games

if player X jails Y who commutes Z. do both the commutes and jail go off? Y is jailed and Z is commuted?

if player X hides behind Y who is mafia but gets investigation immunity from player Z, does Y scan as innocent or guilty aka does the hider (X) dies or not?

Fun to watch the game unravel and I enjoyed it, though I will admit getting day 1'd kind of makes my experience here very bitter for coloring sake, in this mafia game. Still, I think we need to give credit where credit is due to Ekko for helping steer town by accident on the wrong path on several occasions.

Either way; thanks Grammaton for hosting, this was a fun game.

- Balancing (CPs role was meant to state it refunded kill modifiers spent on kills he'd prevented, which makes the role more of a pause which is what I intended rather than my first draft which is what he received. Fortunately this was an easy in-game hotfix and made no difference to the game.
would that not mean i wud have an extra shot cuz of the refund? i wuda blown phenom off last night lol

Next time don‘t shade me after me catching scum, pls. Like, there‘s no way I would have bussed SK as scum when I pushed for his lynch. You fueled my paranoia.
Flower, if honestly wasn't shade. I was just saying there was still a world before where you could have been wolf watcher. When Soul flipped wolf, that cleared you.

what you’re referring to as a ‘commuter’ doesn’t exist, it’s just a jailkeep variant

I use both the targetable and non targetable depending on what I need the role to do

in the first example, Y is blocked by X, and Z is free to act (this is the issue with sequential resolution, only intuitive solution is to have the block of the blocker go through first)

in the second example, the hider resolves before the lawyer which is 100% intentional. Note the wording of doddsys ability, it inverts investigation results, it doesn’t grant them immunity

I evidently couldn't steer the day where I wanted, because I repeatedly asked for a claim from Dalton and to hold the lynch and got neither. I understand that you're not happy with your lynch, I don't expect you to be, and I also understand that having your legacy be ignored is frustrating, but that doesn't mean I just had the chance to play Kingmaker and slept at the wheel. My position was to sit back and let you solve, and not spend it defending yourself. Would have been pretty optimal had it a) been allowed to develop and b) been listened to afterwards.
the issue was the wagon kept getting randomly hammered over and over before we discuss new info lol

it happened like 4 times this game

like we needed to wait for dalton to come and interact with ultra but we always just hammer, and the hammerers always turn out to be town

You said this after SK flipped, though :catsad.
I was Town reading you before that, so that kinda felt like a big blow to me :life.

so will the hider die or not if doddsy reversed a mafia result?

say ultra hide behind soulkiller and doddsy used his investigation reverse on soulkiller, will that kill ultra?

Yes because the Hider reaches the target before the Framer/Lawyer.

Lethal was cleared through this.

fk lol

okay noting for future. thats not how i am used to it working lol

yeah it’s a system I built based off of an order that was already on WF, but we had too many games with inconsistent role resolutions and it was directly impacting outcomes (the famous roleblocked hider game some of us will remember)

i am used to the action processing order only being there merely to resolve paradoxes.

i.e if ultra hid behind doddsy and doddsy used the investigation reverse on himself. this is a paradox. in this event ultra wins (or doddsy) depending on the host. here ultra wins cuz hider is listed first

however if ultra targets soulkiller and doddsy reverses investigation on soulkiller, there is no paradox here and the investigation reversal comes before the hider

that's how I'm used to it lol
