Yeah this is what I’m arguing tho lol, BPD read him town by way of them actively holding up the lynch that’s what I’m saying. I’m not arguing that they cared too much one way or the other

no point in repeating it tho, seems like nobody else agrees but I find it a weird as fuck reason to flip a scum read to town

The reason I think Poyser is just Town is because it requires a huge lack of logic to assume he‘s scum.

He initially called Lethal scum, just to then call him Town. Then he prevented the Lethal lynch D1. Then he wanted him lynched again D2 and pushed through.

If scum didn‘t kill him N1 intentionally, don‘t you think this implies they wanted Lethal alive to serve as a distraction? Then why push him D2 and risk his neck for D3 when he could have just defended him and gotten me lynched D2 and Lethal would yet again be a distraction D3? Makes no sense to me tbh.

I mean, scum win the game if they eliminate only two players.

Ok but how has lethal being no lynched on D1 effected that at all? If they didn’t “purposely hold up” the lynch on D1, they could have easily got 1-2 more claims on D2 and maybe a further mislynch and they’d be even further along lol

saying no lynching him D1 has obviously benefited them is blatantly false. MAYBE it benefited them, but you can’t say it’s obvious in the slightest. I’d say it’s way more likely they’d have made more progress if the D1 lynch had happened

If you are making assumptions about what scum would/wouldn't do in that situation - (correct me if I'm wrong). I think the only player to backtrack from Lethal and attempt to wagon another player was Flower, who I called out for that.

The only assumption I’m making is that mafia players specifically wouldn’t have actively gone out of their way to purposely stop a town lethal from getting lynched. BPD assumes they did and went from reading lethal scum to reading him town based on it. Considering he approached lethal the exact same on D1 as he did in the last game where he refused to drop it even after he was hider cleared AND the godfather flipped then I’m obviously having a hard time believing he dropped it based on such flimsy reasoning

Leaving a chaotic and frankly, unthreatening town player untouched is mafia 101. What does X pointing this out have to do with TMI? We already fucking know mafia can win by leaving alone Lethal.

anyway I’ve said it lots of times, but I do encourage you all to ISO big man (it won’t take long) and look at his play around lethal on D2

his play around him on D1 was pretty awkward as well, but I don’t believe his reason for reading lethal Town made any sense and I’m pretty sure that’s the only read he has given so far this game
