u think setup speccing is bad even 2 pages into the game? i find no problem with that. its not always bad for town to know what we r up against. lots of players didn't even check the matrix 14 wiki so atleast giving them an idea of what to expect and discussing whether or not maf can talk during the day might have an impact, even if slightly, when it comes to maybe CFDs or w.e EoD bullsht we decide to pull off cuz scum is bound to be hella uncoordinated.I am gonna hold my personal reads close to my chest for now. I’m definitely not ignoring anyone and I am ignoring setup discussions because they’re at best worthless and at worst anti-town. Having a meta-discussion about the role composition on Day 1 when no actions have even taken place just serves as a medium for scum to feign contribution talking about nothing (because they know the setup or are at least obviously advantaged in the knowledge of it) and it can foster an environment where role-fishing occurs which is very bad news bears for us perfectly innocent crewmates teehee~
ehh man a post like this looks like its made for free townie points (you aint getting any btw ^^) , because half of the players didnt even post yet so some fluff or mechanic talk to get players in the mood isnt bad at all. it also helps us see which of the players r eagerly down to consume some setup talk while dipping away the moment its time for real talk.
yea well i can see where that is coming from, this style has to be policied out before it spreads and becomes a norm. 100% agree there. i have couple of concerns here:
1. before i knew u were wad, i thought this is a towny thing to do to wanna get rid of / policy a super useless/fluffy slot day 1 so it doesnt become problematic later on down the line, and to deny scum from using it as an escape goat ... BUT ... well, knowing u r wad, this play now becomes a usual wad play to hate on bad playstyles and wanna rid of them. In fact everyone that played with u b4 might start susing u out for not pushing yub as the game goes, since that will be kinda against ur principle to push jokers/fluffers asap when enough is enough.
2. how many of the players know u r wad here? and where the fook is the rest of the playbase lol. why has none commented on this b4

On top of that: I'm firmly against Yub being a day 1 lynching, and you and Wad are regardless of whatever Yub flips as, town or scum, still on my radar. If you want me to flip it back at you, why vote Yub?

like no im serious, i'd probaably keep an active scum over an inactive hardcore pokemon fluffer, unless the scum is 100% outed

My first instinct was to vote Sig for the first night in the other game, which was the correct play, but being the noob I still am, I missed the part where Yub saved Sig, and I'm not about to join a bandwagon just to get rid of a dupe the first round.LMAO what even is this pepega logic

I find it suspicious that he is trying to save Yub too, cause Yub was one of the top 3 sus I had in mind from the get-go. It's hard to understand his ass to begin with and there is no Google translate for his language, other than he conveniently doing it when it comes down to voting. Plus, all this time I thought he was WAD this entire time and now I'm even more confused. I wanna give Yub another round to figure out who he tries to vote out next because he got me good the last game and I'm not falling for that shit a second time.
I don't know but I don't see the reason or the point of trying to meta-read me if we ever played on FV/NF before. I already explained my reason, I asked you yours: why do you want Yub lynched? Why not another target? We're at a stalemate currently as its 8 votes tallied, split evenly down to 4 vs 4; that leaves the final five players who haven't voted yet to make the decision. Unless you remove your vote from Yub as I have said before, my only interest is him surviving past day 1.

If you want to play the meta game, then everything I've seen with Yub is that he pushes his lynch vote when its needed even if he just does Ewokese gibberish 90% of the time besides "Yub" meaning yes or okay and "Nyubba" or whatever meaning no. I'm not a Yub translator.
