Not sure why you're addressing the post that was specifically referencing BPD

You understand what I'm trying to do is pick apart his logic to see if it can be easily deconstructed... Don't you?

Here's where I'm at with his play, going by his previous ones aswell:
He tells me what his thoughts are and what conclusions are being formed and why:If it's not easily deconstructed, he's tunneling (obviously)
If there's some jangled thought processes with some logic I can identify, he's probably just a very confused town with a very aggressive way of scumhunting

If every single thought can be deconstructed regardless, it could be a scum tactic in order to feign confusion

In regards to BPD, the only scum tell right now that may not contradict this particular "feign confusion" theory is his insistence he's town
Even without being pressed to do so, it tends to show someone who's desperate and wants their image to be perceived a certain way
He seems too comfortable with trying to get users he's played with more recently to vouch, despite no current wagon on him

However, I sense desperation coming from a different place
For now, I think

I'm honestly and frankly fucking surprised he's alive, but I'm also starting to think scum is keeping this dude around because it benefits them and if he happens to flip Town, there's probably more holes that could be examined depending on what his flip is
 
I'm not asking anyone to tell me why they're town though, I'm making those assessments myself. I have my own idea of what towny play looks like and will make reads whenever I see somebody exhibit traits that match, regardless of whether I myself match those traits as well.

I think there are some good points here. I'm not on board with your argument that he took issue over votes on Aurelian re: Retro, because he does demonstrate in that post that his issue lies in how Retro initially defended Aurelian randomly, randomly being the keyword, and then attempted to deflect away frm him, which I think overall is a fair point.

I do think your point on how he treated the claim stands strong. He was very quick to conclude that it's within the meta of the host to make a complicated role, and how we should be looking elsewhere. I came away a similar impression when I saw it going through the thread to make your case, hence why he was Scum-lean.

I think what looks particularly bad here is that for all his talk over Retro, I can't recall much of an argument that he's made around it. He makes that one point about jumping on a wagon he wanted to spring, and some arguments around how they treated Aurelian (which could plausibly be trying to link Retro and Aurelian together) and that's it, and I don't think it's enough come Day 3.

I'm on board with receiving his claim.
 
only way I would cop a claimed indie as mafia is if it was late game, there weren't really any town power roles left to fish for, and I want to know exactly what I'm dealing with going into the finish

However the one thing that contradicts my very point is if he were worried about his image at all, he'd stop tunneling
But he hasn't, implying he has no reason to worry

Whether that's out of authenticity or just a manipulative tactic, I don't know

The claims from Craig saying 1) he was fearful of being targeted so he used his one shot 2) the recent thing he said - he fears a mislynch from Town? on him

Claim probably isn't a good term to use since it's heavily based in Mafia terminology

If you say that Poyser made enemies in the mafia, that implies to me that he was more accurate about his scum reads than he was wrong, and it sounds like TMI if you say it like that.

The reason I'm latching onto it is that those rolecop theories just go on top of the pile of things you've said that make less than no sense to me and the more of it I read, the more I think you're scum.
 
It sure hasn't been easy though. We struggled to lynch him yesterday, his wagon got derailed and countered. And we've struggled to get close to majority today.
