Game Elden Ring Mafia

I've return from work, I have only a few things to say and will leave it at that:

1. The people who have actually played multiple games with me would be Ekko, Ultra (to a lesser extent), and Retro, I've only ever played mafia with Ratchet, Ral, Yoshi, Soulkiller, a few times (Gogeta's DB mafia, the grand heist one Ekko did, the Nitty Favorites one last year, etc...); very few of you guys here actually know my 'meta' or anything like that at all, most of you simply don't know how I play mafia because this is our first time playing together.

2. The game started at 4am my time zone, I've literally seen people get jumped on even with IRL complications like school or work or holidays getting targeted because they weren't in the game "from the start" the host kicked things off and that's been my experience for years.

3. I don't generally role-claim in day 1 so its not going to happen here even if it means I'm going to get lynched for how weird this pivoted with RDK; also more baffling because I haven't been day 1'd a lynch focus or target in over years and years so this is a brand new experience. If you want to play the meta card here, you can ask Ekko's experience with me as either a host or a fellow player how I had a massive row with both Soul and especially Ratchet in mafia games. I remember the DB one where Ratchet kept throwing aspersions at me and that shadow of doubt being crept on despite him sniping Uzukage (Android 17/town) and then trying to night kill Vegeta as the scum purple team's godfather based off also past games being a factor. But simply put I do not have a restrictive or one-dimensional style if you want to play the scum or town roles; and this is an environment where I'm playing with fuckers who constitute the majority of the game I've never played with before so I don't know how they will react or if I should be more or less aggressive.

4. Just coming back from my work and seeing how much time has passed and barely anyone else addressing how weird and absolutely scummy it comes off with Yoshi flip-flopping so oddly between attacking RDK to defend me then going the inverse of that out of nowhere is something that bares noticing; it might mean nothing or might mean something but to my knowledge the only person whose made a note of this in particular was Ultra. Handwaving how Yoshi's bizarre display and behavior being so oddly schizophrenic and logic defying in its irrationality certainly would apply minimum watching on him, newbie player or not. Also bares mentioning that when I called out Yoshi claiming we're "mafia buddies" and explain on that shit further, he says nothing the rest of the game to address this.

5. I can be stubborn but I will maintain I never was in particular 'defensive' about anything with RDK, I explained myself, he pushes, I explain myself again. Maybe you guys from AFH have a really non-standard definition of what being defensive means because it doesn't link with Oxford definition. I explained this to Poyser who more or less has been as much of a substance-lacking cheerleader for this bandwagon at me as anyone else.

6. Going over what Ekko, Ultra, and Retrolize have said, there seems more to be a foregone and settled conclusion merely to satisfy a lynch is going to happen regardless of how it ended up, that being me in the crosshairs, by some of those who are pretty much coasting off jumping in. No rhyme, no rhythm, no reason; simply jumping into it.

7. Final point: I will repeat I will not role-claim. I will not role-hint on day 1, period. If I by some miracle survive this lynch, and for argument's sake, implicate I have a important town role then I have a dead man's mark on my head anyways for however the night phase plays out. Maybe getting role-crushed, maybe just getting killed and offed before the next day phase. There is legitimately nothing that would off-set scraping by surviving a lynch just to lose everything in the next phase by gambling it all to live 10-20 minutes later mechanically speaking. People role-fishing this early in the game are generally either hostile anti-town indies or outright scum/mafia because getting all the juicy ducks in a row for town to start discrediting for future misdirected lynches or killing off quite possibly the worst way to play the game if you are a valid townie.

If you want to say anything else to me or ask me why I shouldn't be lynched and Yoshi or someone else should be, feel free but my time is limited.
how can u say u will never role hint day 1 when u have done it so obtusely in that dragonball game when hinting was not allowed lol

u can argue that hinting was needed for fusion there, but then hinting/claiming could be needed to win the game and for u to survive here. if the majority wants u to do it then u do it or hang. dont do this to urself. its gamethrow if town

and i cannot vouch for ur meta bc i already am hesitant about ur wagon so it will come of as bias PoV. maybe me being hesitant is already a point at that. honestly i am not liking this post. its just bunch of stalling

find scum already. u got the best position to do it. start with ur wagon

I don't even think you can read tbh.
I don't really concern myself with what you think, thankfully.
I can bring up several posts from hours ago stating I would be happy to lynch if you refused to claim, for the record. I'm not going to, because it's a waste of effort, but they're in the thread.

You are welcome to make yourself more useful in whatever time you have remaining. I don't believe telling me I can't read helps you, me, or anyone else in this game.

:zilla1:

I said.
let aurolen flip.
His main "push" is the dude responsible for that wagon.
literally just wait and see the flip and make an informed decision.

yes.
it takes 12 to lynch.
He will not convince anyone to lynch RDK
Literally a waste of time/effort
and then if aerolean flips scum he also just ends up looking scummy.
Maybe a vig will kill him too
hopefully they do.
then let me waste my time lol. im not forcing u to change ur lynch

He did it in HxH Mafia, as well. Both Town games. Granted, HxH wasn't Day 1, but it was similarly not allowed.

By your own definition you will likely get hammered as a result of not claiming. What benefit does that have rather than surviving longer, even if you do get crushed etc?

If you're town, we could move on and not waste a lynch on you, how is that not beneficial?

If you're town, claiming is probably the only tool at your disposal for turning the result around and having a chance at nabbing one of the scum who has wagoned you. So, that's not a good justification. If you're going down soon anyway, might as well take the bastards with ya.

Also typical Ratchet post:

"Its okay to put yourself in the lime light of getting scum-killed, because who cares if your role could or couldn't be essential, just when its a lynch or not."
Worthless.
Pointless.
Mindless.

I don't really concern myself with what you think, thankfully.
You've already indicated you have a bias against me, which you have shown in past games that goes to personal beef. You have played the spite route multiple times at me, and you singularly are one of the most aggravating people I've had the displeasure of playing with which includes some of your more infamous buddies. Can I parrot back your own sentiment?

I don't really concern myself with what you think, thankfully.

how can u say u will never role hint day 1 when u have done it so obtusely in that dragonball game when hinting was not allowed lol
Because if your going by day 1, then Gogeta even admitted in our PMs that the stuff I was posting with the time traveler stuff wasn't clarified and didn't draw direct attention to me being Future Trunks. My focus was on day 1 and solely day 1 and I don't do contratry to that.

The other stuff is Ratchet talking shit out of his mouth because I never role-hinted or dropped any signs I was Netero in Aries' HxH game. The only thing brought up was me saying that Flower or whoever was playing as Mereum was a smart move since we already realized much later on how much they were sliding through with town cred as scum by using what's her name's outing as Killua to save face.

You can ask Aries himself that I literally didn't even understand half the weird mechanics he was using in that game.

First 5 pages and the players that catch my eyes are Evans and Poyser, both creating discussion. Not sure how I feel about poyser supposedly town lean from the get go based off WIFOM but he did move the discussion forward so I guess I can keep reading for now. Both started quite strong which is good I guess, hope they keep this enthusiasm.

I noticed alot of new faces. It's always fun playing with new blood.

:whathekong

what the.
After all that kekko defense I thought you were on board with derailing this.
lawl.
neither of us intended to derail lol. i dont know where r u getting this from

im merely continuing my day and solving other players as aurelion was afk lol

ive made couple of posts earlier that if he gets mislynched its his own fault, and i have limit to how lenient i can be with his play.

Its okay to put yourself in the lime light of getting scum-killed, because who cares if your role could or couldn't be essential, just when its a lynch or not."
...when scum kills a role, who is taking action to get the role killed? The answer is - Scum. Scum using their abilities and kills to remove a role.

If you are lynched, who has control of the lynch that is being used to kill you? The answer is - Town. Town have control of the lynch, so you being removed from the game via the lynch comes at the cost of something town possess.

For this reason, scum killing you is always better than you being lynched. There may be specific exceptions to this, such as roles that negatively affect the town if they're killed but not lynched, but as a general principle, if your role is strong enough to get killed by scum as a priority and you are faced with claiming or being lynched, claiming and taking the scum bullet is just better for the town even if your role being lost is costly. It's still getting lost when you get lynched, after all.

You brought it up not me....
Like I said.
Kekko gonna look bad if he flips town or if he flips scum.
idk why he did that.

:sadzilla:

watch him flip indie so i look super good then
