I might be completely kooked, but it could be used as an intimidation factor towards scum, it would paint a big target on Aur's back, but maybe he would try to gauge player reactions to play the mind games, and since he only has 1x shot that he would be at least mechanically useless now anyway, he could be willing to sacrifice himself for town.

In contrast, if Aurelian is scum that would probably mean that he has no cop, and even if he did it would probably be rolecop, maybe that part was true to be a 1x.
In this scenario it could make some sense why Aur would cop Ultra, now they have Ultra's role.

I feel that Aurelian today has come off as very towny, and I honestly don't know how to interpret the 1x thing.
The problem with witholding of information to town is that once you've been caught doing it once, your credibility plummets - because if you lied about that, what else have you lied about?

Maybe it is bias, but I would GTH town. Wouldn't die on that hill though.

I'm not a role cop regardless of you thinking I'm town or indy, standard cop, no more no less.

I will not. I've already sprinkled hints several times throughout the game, not off my back if you can't put things together. Maybe ISO my responses to certain posters regarding mech.

There was no silliness or eccentricity at play here. It does me and by proxy the rest of town no favors by instantly revealing I'm a 1x shot cop so mafia team can relax knowing they have no danger of being alignment checked.

Well, I would have no way of knowing, it is nothing more than conjecture.

I can't really come up with a thesis about that plot twist that I am convinced myself to be good, so I'll just put that one on the back burner.

Liked you otherwise, and also noted how Bachi tried to steal your thunder. Once again personal bias kicking in here I reckon as I have Bachi as scum, but I might have to concur on this one. I don't really know anymore.

Nah, it's not for me to spend an inordinate amount of time combing through the thread to find your "hints" when you could just claim it in a matter of seconds. Again, stop being a petulant child about it and actually try to help - lose the ego for a start. I'm more than willing to pursue other leads, but it requires you to put the bare minimum of effort into working with me too. If you can't do that, then I wash my hands of you.
