Can you quote me where I said it was outside the realm of possibility that his target would die please? Ultra has been one vote away, being caught scum after another scum gets caught isn't all that big a deal given he would know he is probbaly going to get killed sooner or later.

You've been asking about the logic as if you don't think it exists.

And of course scum Ultra isn't going to actively ask us to pick targets if he thinks he can get away with picking a legit townie himself. it would increase his chance of survival.

You seem to be looking at this from the perspective of "He's dead soon anyway, so what's the point trying to fight to stay alive." I don't think that's the mentality he'd have as scum here.

He tries to discredit a player entirely instead of actually showing any interest in their play.

As town you would want to encourage activity and input from everyone but here he basically attempts to destroy rugrats growing thread presence in a hostile manner.

Not only is this not a pro-town thing to say, it's actually also bad because it kind of validates rugrats feelings as being real and not coming from a place of scum.

That's not my viewpoint. Your contention is if we pick a target for him and he's a scum buddy of Ultra's, if that target, after being "cleared" gets killed Ultra ends up caught. Ultra is virtually caught anyway, so being confirmed scum is not all that worse off, whereas at least now he gets more goes out of his role.

I don't think Ultra is "virtually caught" - I've seen people survive this sort of thing for quite a bit. That's I think where our difference is here. I don't think Ultra thinks he's done.
