You didn't need to - you received a vest Night 4, which you wouldn't have had you been commuted. Assuming that Craig had jailed Phenom was suboptimal, because you didn't have that as evidence. At the very least, it should have moved Phenom into the immediate PoE.
Tbf you could have cleared Lethal and gotten Phenom on mech alone.
But I doubt anyone would have gotten Dalton, so it‘s fine.

I committed the kill that Night and we shot into your BP vest as anyone who i tried to kill and they survived, they were set aflame. So we essentially took out your vest, set you up to die via the flame or have Doddsy Heal you to prove his role

the way it worked was phenom had a 1-shot ability that replaced our kill that, instead of 'killing you,' set you on fire.
so we used it to effectively bypass your BP vest.
The original plan was that Doddsy just wouldn't heal BP since he was effectively dead. Can't remember why we changed that lol.

I was obviously in a tunnel on Lethal and didn't trust the vest. I've been playing way too many SRMs and thought it was a trap or something. Then people said Gram has used fake gift giver and I was worried.

Okay, I was curious about the lack of kill that night and then when it showed up with deathflame, I was curious if my vest was gone or not. It gave you guys options to see if you could save Doddsy.
this game did make me theorize on the link between hyperviglance and distrust

- The janitor posting was just shit by me. Scum changed their actions a few hours before deadline and essentially those changes meant Ratchet would survive rather than die. I had pencilled them in already and was semi distracted when posting night. My bad.
- Balancing (CPs role was meant to state it refunded kill modifiers spent on kills he'd prevented, which makes the role more of a pause which is what I intended rather than my first draft which is what he received. Fortunately this was an easy in-game hotfix and made no difference to the game.

MVP - Dalton (The best of the winning scum team, was patient in the final meaningful phase and eventually the mistake came from an opponent that he was able to capitalise on)
HM 1 & 2 are still up for debate, I'll consider these over the next day or so, but several town players as well as Evans played a really good game and came up just short.

First and foremost, thank you to each and every person who played this game, I had a blast hosting it and watching it unfold, and the fact a 23 player game got over 11k posts with basically no shitposting is completely unheard of to me. I hope you all feel it was a fair contest and that ultimately, the right team won!
If this is the first game of mine you've played, our guys use similar (but obviously not identical) conventions, but this is the rough power curve we aim for. I hope this style of mafia appeals to you and you come back for more!

Exactly as well as opened you up for us to be able to kill you another night if needed. Then you claimed hated and things changed although I thought maybe you were big braining it to draw a quick lynch and then it took us a while to discern that we could just roletrack you to confirm
