I mean I do appreciate town reading me but that won't necessarily mean too much right now, right?

As for Ultra, I haven't liked the meat of what he's said and his interactions with Dofla. Plus its weird because when I was posting with Ekko, I made the suggestion of 'bussing' Ultra and Ekko jumped on voting him, well after Hime, T-Pein, and Dofla already had their votes on him.

Do you think its strange Ultra has fixated on my vote and Dofla's on him but not theirs? Is there a particular reason mine gets particular attention but not those 3?

As for reads, not a fan of really doing that when several players haven't posted yet but who do we have so far:

- You (null, I've seen you do this busy work kind of thing before so don't know how to pin it)
- Evans (as I mentioned earlier, not comfortable in saying he's town when he seems passive right now interacting with a couple of people, kind of a polarized display compared to the last game when he was town, currently have as a null)
- Ekko (could lean town, shitposts lots in day 1 regardless, fairly active which is his normal MO without going to excessive with his posts, happily jumped into the Ultra bandwagon with a couple others piling on Ultra, can see him as soft town for now)
- Dofla (haven't played with him too much so don't have much to pin on him for tells or hints as clues to what his alignment is, think he has the upper hand in looking better from just tripping up Ultra so far but I think that's good enough for now for another soft town vibe)
- Hime (null, only made like a handful of posts and threw a vote at Ultra, don't really feel any actual teeth so far with her interest in the wagon on him so far, so null for her too)
- Kurumi (went against the grain as the pressure on Ultra started to mount with multiple votes on lynching Ultra to say he's playing aggressively and she sees that as a town trait of his, conflicted enough to not really say how to gauge her if this is a town or wolf/scum trait, again null read atm)
- Ultra (he's sort of coordinating weirdly with BPD, there's the weird shift with Evans sort of trying to change or swing the discussion away from votes that were building on Ultra, maybe not scum? But I don't feel it at the moment)
- T-Pein (can't tell if his immediate joining in on the push against Ultra is legitimate or not, pretty happily put his vote on Ultra and also accused Evans of trying to shift focus away from the votes on him. Also had Evans and Ultra included in his potential scum list but again don't really know if that's him just fucking around or being serious, again willing to risk him as soft town)
- BPD (doesn't really fluff post well that much in day 1 scenarios from my experience, does excessively and aggressively tunnel on people, misguided or correct when playing as town, accused me of shitposting with him as being 'afraid' of him, doesn't really explain himself other than tinfoiling but that's a fair trait when he's town of being off the base a lot, potentially soft town but equally go also be scum and doing the whole 'wolfing' thing that he fondly will accuse others of, actually sticking with null on him atm)
- TSworder (no idea, barely said anything at all so far)
- Tweet (same as him, made like 1 post I think?)

Me saying I caught GF, was nothing but a joke. However, as soon as I said that, you started in on saying I was tinfoiling and trying to find a way to discredit what I said. Then, when you started doing this, I said you were getting more serious (obviously look at you now). You continue yap about whatever you were saying, so I ask the question again, do you think I was serious about me catching the GF. I have never misconstrued your posts, I do not have some sort of gotcha, and all of this started because I said I caught you as GF and you went SERIOUS MODE. Initially, I thought his push on me had some genuine belief about it when I rated the votes on me per Odos request. But there's been some posts since that's got me reordering that list.

First, let's look at this lack of explanation from his chat with Odo & me about myself.

I model his town play as fairly simple and straightforward, and my bar isn't really too high for him to begin with, so

I'm not applying an objective quality standard. I'm saying he's normally a pretty straight shooter, and I'm *not* going to hold out for elements of his play that don't exist before voting him, like for example a high quality analysis post that could turn me around. Make sense?

I'm saying if this is something I could expect from you as an element of your play, I could possibly hold out a bit more and see what you're cooking. That's what Gram is getting at with the "low bar" question.

Holds me at a dramatically low standard of mafia player tier and he expects game solving in the fluff stage? Unreasonably high expectations considering at the level he sees me as, as a a player.

Now, when addressed about what exactly he's "pushing" myself and that's loose at best. A careful ISO & read will show it's a lot of puffed out chest and insults but not much actual solving against my posts.

Let's look here now, I made a jab about Ekko spamming the thread, clearly fluffing but apparently vague and no direction. Which, tbf? The no direction comment is absolutely true. I was fluff posting whilst in work lmao. I even addressed this with my post saying "No, it's for my own mental health" after last game was a nice change with Ekko and not sifting through 2000 posts of spam.

But if it was a serious shade at Ekko, 30 posts into the game - then how is that lacking direction? It's a very odd comment to make when there was a targeted comment at another player and their meta.

The post that really got me thinking though, was this one:

Should I just make no attempt whatsoever at giving you a read? Am I overextending? Most importantly, am I wrong?

The man, early game jumped into this level of exaggeration to suggest that I'm saying that he should make NO attempt at reading me when I challenged him knowing my meta. Considering the shit that just came out of him about me being a shit player and him being so much better. Why does such a gap in ability require such a vast exaggeration other than to make me look bad?

Also, Ultra was town last game and was not this aggressive. I played that game too. Surely his behaviour would have been similar this game towards myself? Whilst post content makes a difference somewhat, the level of aggression that's been stepped up this game is VERY different.

It looks like he's taken some shitty fluff posts as an excuse to try and set me up for some shit whilst delivering very little content about why he's voting me and just talked down to me about his ability compared to mine.
