Seems kind of nitpicky to say "there are better ways to move the game forward". Like what, that early? Or was it too early to try? What would you have done? Poyser is open to criticism god knows there is room for improvement there

Its weird Ratchet would make that comment about me given that multiple players in other games who have gotten to play with him have voiced similar problems about his posting style in mafia games in general but given he dislikes me and I dislike him, as far as mafia is concerned, its not surprising he'll throw shade at me and vice versa. Several of us new to playing with Ratchet have had issues with his "logic" and general ramblings.

No one else at any rate in any of the past games I've played with him, have ever shared that idea I'm somehow "results" based and not logic based or that I'm some kind of enigma to draw issue with my play style. Its just him.

Yeah it kind of failed over on NF and I wasn't feeling particularly motivated to do it here despite this being my first game here.

Well you're assuming I'm some sort of newb here. You ask this condescending questions like I don't know this game. If Poyser wants to soft town read Lethal early in the game, fine, do that and leave it. But he didn't do that. He tried to give a lengthy explanation about Lethal's meta. Then he later tried to say he did it all in the name of pushing the game forward. These three thought processes Poyser has had, I feel is somewhat contradictory.

I don’t think this is based on reality. I said I had him a soft Town lean and then asked alco specifically what he thought of that and engaged others on it as well. I didn’t just say I had a soft town lean then start over explaining the read lol, it was all part of discussion. I cut it in the bud when I thought lethal had been talked about enough

Let me ask you a question. Why would I stop the discussion and say I was just doing it to move the game forward if all I was looking to do was establish standing as you say? Seems counter productive to that goal really. It’s not like I was getting pressure for talking about him and then decided to excuse why I was talking about him. I stopped and said why I did it of my own accord again, so the game could move on

Yeah we’ve been playing together regularly and no it hasn’t. But I don’t mean to say his game hasn’t evolved at all, because he has made improvements when it comes to not sounding insane when he’s scum, but the fear is absolutely still present and crippling for him. He still has that habit of forcing a catch up and limiting himself to tiny windows of play time. Like me and tweet still catch him fairly easily regularly including just last game so if scum again I def think he’d duck the thread and wait until there was some meat to reply to and talk to his team etc

that said the reason I have it as soft rather than just a town read is the fact that roles got sent out last night so if scum he would have had chance to familiarise himself with his team already I’m assuming which could effect it. I’d still lean more town than not tho

I have it as 15. Some people like ratchet and black legged whatever have been playing with us on WS. Actually not sure if lethal would remember pandex (ratchet) so perhaps 14

u shud of waited for him to post a bit more b4 saying it imo

Explained before but he comes off too inconsistent, wish-washy, and oppurtunistic for my liking and his interjection with my exchange vis a vis with RDK isn't endearing me anymore to the idea of him being trustable.

Poyser also bears watching as well like Ultra has suggested.

My issue is that he mentioned that he was trying to move the game forward after the game had kind of already been moved forward. Seemed like a retroactive excuse to me when it wasn't really necessary. Is writing a paragraph explaining how he was trying to get the game moving really necessary?

I believe so - his entrance explaining his absence is a fair reason to scum read him. His follow-ups and further engagement, while also fair, are something of a false positive.

But your defence of him seems to be predicated on him being “weird” or hard to decipher lol. None of that is true really, he’s being pushed based on a pretty heavy handed over defensiveness based on a soft sus from one player. Nothing hard to decipher about that b

I don't play WIFOM games like that. It also has nothing to do with pressure.

To be clear, I advocated reading you based on results, not that your process or approach relies on results.

If Fang is town, Yoshi's play seems a lot more positional in that he blatantly found a non reason to switch over as soon as Fang caught heat in *spite* of his characteristic cuddling with his buddy
