Game Elden Ring Mafia

In-fucking-fact it was me who forced you to start facing my accusations, right here. Before you were coyly warming yourself up in the thread and, despite being aware of me scum reading you the entire game, said close to nothing.

I did reply and asked you to confirm:

It was live as I was reading back tbf

As in my reads?

To which you ignored.

I couldn't tell if you meant reads list or you were expecting me to make up how many players on the scum team :hestonpls

I'll play along though! I feel I can put together something a bit more comprehensive now I'm caught up.

1. Lethal - still mostly null, but I'm sliding into scum territory. Waiting for him to properly contribute like he promised earlier but he keeps disappearing.
2. Aurelian - claimed pro-town Indie - I don't buy his win condition and think he's lying about the full extent of his abilities. Down to lynch.
6. Ekko - Not a huge fan of how he was countering Lethal about my points then saying he's town. The post he made about "baiting Aurelian in" was odd, but with the indie claim it becomes less relevant than trying to look good if Aurelian flipped scum. On the other hand, Ekko could be scum and that's why he was trying to derail the Aurelian wagon to claim townie points.
7. Ratchet - I liked Ratchets discussion against me early game and he's seemed pretty consistent throughout the game. Soft lean.
8. RDK - Pretty confident in thinking Haza's town. Don't think he goes hard on Aurelian like that early if he's scum. He's felt like he's naturally scum hunting and take up a town leadership role.
9. TPein - I think the switch on Ekko looks good for him, wary of his early claim but I haven't hated his posts thus far.
10. Poyser - didn't have a read on him as he's a good player and someone I've always found difficult to read early on. Claimed pro-town indie too. Aurelian's flip and his full claim will provide further insight.
11. CraigPelton - Another hard read for me usually. But I glanced through bits of Xmas mafia and he was a lot more trolly there! He seems to be actually contributing this game, so a soft town lean from me on the Dean

These are players I have actual leans/reads for. Everyone else is null pretty much
Cp was town in Xmas Mafia so why do you think he's town here if you're pointing to a contrast in his play

A few notes:
1. Lethal - still mostly null, but I'm sliding into scum territory. Waiting for him to properly contribute like he promised earlier but he keeps disappearing.
I can vibe with this read. So far I feel like Lethal has been happy to bystand a bit this game. I don't hold the activity against him, but when he has been here, I got the impression his observations were not adding much to the conversation. if I'm charitable, i could say this is just down to him needing to get into the game. It's certainly possible. But I'd like to see more.
10. Poyser - didn't have a read on him as he's a good player and someone I've always found difficult to read early on. Claimed pro-town indie too. Aurelian's flip and his full claim will provide further insight.
Can you explain how Aurelian's flip will help with your read on Poyser? I think it's pretty clear that Poyser was under no real threat and didn't need to claim, so him doing so should, at the very least, earn him enough of the benefit to have his claim treated independently of Aurelian entirely. Even if Aurelian flips Pro-Town, I think I'm more inclined to believe two pro-town Indies than I am to get into the rabbit hole of "well what if Poyser isn't being very truthful". It's not a hard clear, because I assume he is capable of thinking flexibly, but I haven't seen anyone bring forward a reason as to what he benefits as scum here.

Was Craig scum in that game? based on Ekko's response to him earlier about being easy to discredit, I assumed he was Town.

Not really he just made a generic statement. Is it even true? Pretty sure I’ve seen you push aggressively as scum before
I have but his point was that It looks good that I've done it right out the gate, I usually shyer from the off as scum and I'm much better as scum when I rep into it as there's already stuff going on I can hide amongst. The fact he has come up with this to read me made me think he is actually trying to solve me

I have no reason to lie about my win-con at this point. Given the general love of people to murk indies in most games I've played and with my back against the wall, that would be entirely self-sacrificial for no purpose to get outed as an indie instead of lying and saying I'm vanilla town.

See to me it just seems like an easy thing to call you town for. Didn’t even take into account calibre of target or strength or argument or anything which is why I said it’s generic

I’ve seen next to no actual scum hunting from him at all

Can you provide a reads list, please?

Sure

Town

Ekko
Ratchet
RDK

Town-lite

Hans Tweetenberg
Dalton
Yoshi
Alco

Null
CraigPelton
Arp Bladstrum
Lethal
Retrolize
Soul
Doddsy

Scum

Phenom
TPein
Evans

- Null pile is mostly players who haven't quite met the burden of content to determine town alignment. Then there's players like retro who I can't pretend to have a read on besides looking like her usual self, Soul still catching up, and Craig being a bald anomaly. Also, I had a tow lean on X originally, but he doesn't quite feel as town as he *could* be.

Nobody is gonna believe part of your win con is “town has to get at least most of the great runes” lol that is clearly a lie

What's really pulling it in for me on the Lethal read is this call out by Poyser on his behaviour. He's taken the town-lean from most and dipped.

that said him contradicting my stance and offering alternative explanations just makes me think he is town anyway if I’m honest. I think he’d just be relieved and gratefully accept the read if he was scum lol, especially when he just got bodied in xmas mafia

If Aurelian is being fully truthful about his abilities, I think it puts a spotlight on Poyser's indy claim and its abilities too. I get your perspective but I think it's a fireback. The claiming without request or pressure is a good point though.

And ye, I thought CP was scum in that game but I don't disagree with what I've said about him trying this game. His posts have lined up with my thoughts around Ekko. I'm happy keeping him light blue and a soft lean

Can you explain your reads?

Still going through the posts. Evans shading me about disappearing again? Try singing a new song.

Speaking of Evans though, I noticed Ultra said he hadn't provided one scum read until pressed? And given Ultra's attention to detail to shade Evans for 'disappearing' at post 155, surely he would have noticed that Evans was scum leaning me in those early exchanges, no?

You absolutely do have reason to lie about your win-con if it's anti-town and you're just trying to self preserve lol

No I wasn't lol

Again, dipped. Called sleep and cricket. Like you've never dipped before?

Poyser's town lean was soft as fuck and I treated it as so. I challenged him saying I'm a coward as scum, I've become braver in that sense of the word through having played a lot more scum games the past months.

I did yesterday and you called me out on it :hestonpls

Can we have some reads / contributions from you please?
