This is a pretty fucking good post. Probably can just say Arp (shocker) and Big Man are town here.

Which brings the gunsmith claim back up. I know if Alco flips wolf it looks worse for me, but gunsmith is a convenient thing to claim. Honestly, haven't played with a ton of gunsmiths so I'm not 100 on the intricacies of it or all the ways one might use it, but I feel like it's an easyish thing fake claim. I still think town having four invest abilities is too much.

Because he looks awful. His push on to me made no logical sense given his stated views, and his reads he gave today had Flower/SK aligned prior to SK claiming Rykard, which is either fake af or TMI. Not to mention all the reasoning I had previous, as well as the added benefit that I think Alco/Flower are significantly more likely to be telling the truth than Dalton, and at least one of those 3 is full of it.

I think Gram has balanced this game in a very fair and logical way.

I think Phenom is scum. He is the counter to CP.

I think Doddsy is scum. He is the counter to Soul's poison.

I think Tiara is scum. She is the counter to Dalton's tracker.

All of these things help wolves to counter things that town and indies have. All of these are all possible town roles which makes them viable fake claims. Town has rune cop but it could still target town and scum. Town has a gunsmith that can target vig, gift maker gun, serial/harmful indie, wolves. This makes gunsmith valuable but still balanced and possibly misleading. Looking at all the roles, a lot of them could have their alignments or claims questioned. And a lot of the maybe stronger roles are harder to verify. Then there are also x-shots sprinkled in for town to use.

The invigorater role is maybe the one that's weird to fit into the balance? It's been confirmed by CP and I have a hard time thinking it's a scum role or that scum would use it on confirmed jailer to strengthen him.

Like, imagine Soul poisoned a wolf and they were just like, wtf. I think having Doddsy being a town healer JUST to counter Soul's poison is a weird town role and balance. I think Doddsy being a scum healer to counter the chance that Soul poisons one of them makes a lot more sense. That role also allows Doddsy to make it a decent fake town claim.

I hate claims but I want to understand this mindset: What is the reason for you not claiming?

When you were MC in HxH, you claimed because you felt it beneficial, and this implies you don't. What are you holding back?

I think you've got this wrong.

Why is Flower scum over Dalton? Why would an SK having poison mean the healer is scum? Also as I've mentioned I'm pretty sure I'm not Soul exclusive as why would it bother specifying status effects instead of just poison?I've no complaints with Phenom though tbf

You've not really given any reason other than setup spec.

Also are you the only unclaimed at this point?
