Majority of claims aren’t gonna change minds no but they’re worth getting on the 20% chance surely. We want his claim becuase based on his play, we want to lynch him. If he claims cop for example, we probably will not want to lynch him any more lmao

With a game this size we can afford to pursue around three claims a day without too much risk. We're about 1/4 into the day, so when should we be pursuing claims in your opinion? I would think at around that halfway point (about 8 hours from now) would be the fairest time... but Aurelian also said he wouldn't be around for about that length of time, so getting it now isn't unreasonable.

Ultra, the point of seeking a claim is not to hope it reverses the course of the lynch. It's to avoid snafus such as mislynching cops or roles that can easily prove themselves, and moreover it's a source of information that we can use to inform the lynch - why would we ever decide to make our lynches less informed than they could be?

I think I’ve been pretty consistent in what I’m saying

poyser's read on lethal was meta based and meta reads r worthless anyway in the grand scheme of the game. its just a placeholder. i tend to agree that what lethal is doing is more NAI because

1. lethal just got scum read last game (1~2 weeks ago) for playing in his "scum meta". id think if he rolled scum here he would try to deliberately change it so he doesn't get caught for same reasons
2. lethal admittedly knows poyser can read him like a book for his scum meta. if he is approaching poyser as scum it wud need to be completely different approach than last game

expecting lethal to play the same way hes just got caught with last game is just saying he is a bad player and underestimating him so..

I have no issue with lynching someone who wants to make life more difficult because of some silly preconception about how the game should be played (which isn't even a purist take, because claiming has been a thing in Forum Mafia from like 2004 at least).

Hmm think you missed my point there bud. You're putting in all of this effort on Poyser but voting with him, and you didn't really say anything about the guy you ARE voting, which makes the vote even more sus, like hedging bets maybe, idk. Just seems really odd!

...And if he was cop getting a claim out of a wagon 10% into the day is an obvious waste. We still have plenty of time for consolidation, if someone can reasonably remove themselves from the pool of suspicion based on their posts that would be preferable. If the suspicion on him doesn't budge, sure.
