If it happens once, it's an outlier. If it happens twice, it's debatable. If it happens more than that, it's normal for the character (if potentially their upper limit) and should be treated as such.

It's not an antimagic field, it's a magic eraser. Disjunction can turn off antimagic fields, even. Even artifacts made with the D&D gods' power can potentially be erased using the spell.

This aint even a case of "Oh you gotta read all the VNs and the mangas and play all of FGO" to get it, you can just watch one of the anime, see them do crazy shit like blow holes into buildings, nuke forests, and kill a pilot inside a jet just by turning it, and you can clearly tell these dudes are superhuman as shit D&D characters squash Servants anyway but to say the latter gets oneshotted by guys like Steve and Peter and only cap out as peak human is just plain wrong

This particular comment stood out to me: Idk shit about Fire Emblem past Radiant Dawn so I can't input anything on Dimitri but it kinda goes with what I said about how the "I know they're not that strong because I played the vidya" argument can really fail since it really depends on how you view things Like going back to D&D someone who's only really played a bit of low level 5E can come up with the idea of "They're only sword level because they die to swords" but someone who goes a lot deeper into lore and powerscaling will find some crazy ass shit. Which if you look at anything other than 5E is pretty easy to come by all things considered (and still technically canon, Drizzt wasn't rendered non-canon just because he doesn't have 5E stats for example)

I should also mention that I did not fully read a single one of those reddit posts. I skimmed one sentence of one of them while catching up to the thread, briefly saw they were downplaying with game mechanics, and knew exactly what rules I had to play by.

Everyone wanking Overlord and downplaying D&D using game mechanics tends to miss the part where Ainz, with full prep at his strongest, still admitted that he can't beat the likes of the other Supreme Ones, even the ones who are more unga bunga than hax-focused like Ainz (especially the unga bunga boys), let alone beings from the New World. Even with game mechanics in the setting rendering him as OP as he is. Meanwhile D&D's signature lich villain with full prep and at his strongest fought the Lady of Pain to a standstill. Lets ignore the part where it was mentioned during said fight that the Lady of Pain was capable of destroying the multiverse by appearing in her true form. Lets also ignore the part where Vecna was stated by this point to have reached a level of power on par with the Serpent, which itself is considered an overdeity on the same level as Ao and the Lady of Pain. We're ignoring all of this because Overlord wankers are so unbelievably intent on using in-universe game...
